Appin Holiday Homes position in Argyll provides an ideal base for exploring much of Scotland. Oban, Fort William, Glencoe, Ardnamurchan, Inverness, Mallaig and Inverary can make for a perfect day trip from your holiday home. We are adjacent to the A828 and the Oban - Fort William cyclepath. You can currently cycle from Appin Holiday Homes to the sealife centre, castle stalker and Linnhe Marine on this fantastic route.
When coming from the south on the M6/M74 head for Stirling on the M73/A80. Take the M9 for Perth, exiting for Stirling at Junction 10, taking the A84 heading for Crianlarich, finally on either the A82 or A85. Glasgow, Stirling, Perth and Inverness are approximately 90 miles away. Other approximate distances in miles are Edinburgh 115, Carlisle 200, Manchester 300, Hull 350 and London 500. We also have regular visitors from Cornwall, Devon and the far south of England some drive up in a day others have a wee rest overnight!
