The scenery of the coast is extremely beautiful with a combination of seascapes and rugged and mountainous countryside and Appin is set within a National Scenic Area. For the more energetic a variety of activities are available in the area including: Hill & Forest walking, Mountain Climbing, Canoeing, Sailing, Horseriding, Cycling and Skiing to name a few! Also just a short stroll through the grounds brings you to the Creagan Inn which enjoys a magical lochside setting and serves food and drink all day.
